Your wrist is the controller

No buttons, no on‑screen sticks, no phone in your hand. Tilt to roll, and the maze responds instantly.

Every level is earned

Easy teaches you. Normal makes you pay attention. Hard and Extreme will take more than one try. Every maze is tested and tuned before it ships.

Collect the whole cast

Stars unlock characters. Volcado leaves a trail of embers. Cado bursts into hearts. One of them cannot be bought at any price.

Every message goes straight to the person who makes the game. If you are reporting a problem, it helps to include your Apple Watch model, your watchOS version, and which level you were on.

Common questions

The screen dims in the middle of a level

Apple Watch dims the display after a short time to save battery, and on longer levels that can happen mid‑solve. The game pauses safely, so the clock stops and nothing is lost, but it does interrupt your run.

To avoid it, open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to Display & Brightness → Wake Duration, and choose Wake for 70 seconds.

How do I unlock characters?

Characters unlock as you collect stars across the four difficulty tiers. Every level awards up to three stars based on your time. One character cannot be unlocked with stars at all, and you will know that one when you see it.

How are stars awarded?

Every level has a par time, which is what a careful player achieves. Match it for two stars, beat it comfortably for three. Ties always go in your favour.

Can I reset my progress?

Yes. Open Settings inside the game and choose Reset Progress. That clears stars, unlocked characters, best times, and stats, and it cannot be undone.

Can I turn off the haptics?

Yes. Settings inside the game has a toggle for haptics, and another for celebrations if you would rather skip straight to your star result.

Does the game collect my data?

No. The game keeps a record of your own play, including times, attempts, and stars, entirely on your watch so it can show you your stats. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. There are no accounts, ads, or trackers. Read the privacy policy.

I found a level that seems impossible

Every level is verified solvable before it ships, but solvable and reasonable are not the same thing. Email the level name and it gets looked at. Feedback like this genuinely changes the game.

Avo & Cado is an independent game, designed and built for the Apple Watch rather than shrunk down to fit it. Every maze in it was drawn, tested, and tuned by hand, with a great deal of help from two very honest playtesters who happen to be my kids.
